About Me

I was born in Colchester ( England ) in the late 1980’s and grew up in London until the age of 12. At the age of 12 I then moved up to Aberdeen ( Scotland ) with my father, stepmother and sisters until 16 years of age.

At 16 years of age with hardly any qualifications I needed to make a decision in my life either to stay on at school and go to collage or join the Royal Navy. My choice was to join the Royal Navy. So at the age of 16 I packed my bags and stepped on a train all the way to a small town in the South West of England called Torpoint to start my Royal Navy training.

This turned out to be one of the best decisions in my life. I served 4 years and left just before my 21st birthday. During my time in the Royal Navy I made some great friendships, build up my confidence, learnt a lot of new skills and gained a lot of qualifications. I was also able to travel around the world and meet lots of different people.

After leaving the Royal Navy I decided to move to Suffolk ( England ) to be close to my mother and stepfather which is where I still am. I also now have a lovely partner and a beautiful son.

I now work as a full time Service Engineer and in my spare time outside of work I like to spend time with my family, go out running, watch football, travel , cook and blog about the meals that I have cooked.

The rest of the story remains to be told…
